Liza Szabó (1992, Budapest) is a visual artist living and working in the Netherlands. She graduated in 2016, from the Royal Academy of Art the Hague, and works as a freelance photographer ever since. Her photography revolves around the question of reality, both in a visual and a theoretical sense, she seeks to understand our relationship towards memories and reality. She creates staged sets, combining various elements and materials, carefully setting a whole scene. She is particularly interested in how three-dimensional forms and shapes translate into a two-dimensional medium and her work is highly inspired by graphic design, architecture, and modern dance.
